The Lathangi Club of Bala Vidya Mandir organized Vinayaka Chathurthi celebration on 30th ,31st of August and the third day of celebration was on 1st September 2011 for the 15th consecutive year. Chief Guest were invited on all the three days.
Ms.Lakshmi Vijayaraghavan ( Alumini of BVM) presided over the function on the 1st Day. The second day was presided over by Mrs.K.R. Seethalakshmi (Principal in charge, Music H.O.D (Queen Mary’s College, Chennai) and Ms.Kritika Krishnan (Alumini of BVM) graced the occasion on the third day.
The celebration was a musical extravaganza where students gave solo performances and groups from Primary , middle school and higher secondary rendered bhajans .Prasadam was distributed on all the three days.
