Dr. S. Krishna Kumar - Head, Department of English at Bala Vidya Mandir (Adyar), added another feather to his cap. He lead a team of 5 of the country's finest student debaters - two of whom were from Bala Vidya Mandir - as Manager, Team India to the World Schools Debating Championship held in August 2011 at Dundee, Scotland. He was India's lone international judge at the championship. He adjudicated 4 international debates, chairing one of them. He had earlier served Team India as Assistant Manager and second judge at WSDC 2010 at Doha, Qatar. |
