ANNUAL SCHOOL DAY 2009 – 2010

     
DAY 3 – SENIOR – CLASSES VI TO XII    
     
The Senior School Day was conducted on the 25th of July 2009. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Ms.Sivasankari, a renowned writer and social activist. The students from classes 6-12 showcased their talents on the centre stage.  
     
The Middle school enacted the English play, ‘Swami and friends’ transporting the audience to the fictional world of Malgudi. The Orchestra was a treat to the ears rendering classical notes.  
     
The Sanskrit play narrated the stay of Ganges, while the Hindi play performed a hilarious story from Akbar and Birbal titled ‘Moorkhon ki Taalash Mein’. The story of Ramayana and Bharatha’s devotion to Rama was portrayed in the Tamil play ‘Bharatham tandha Bharathan’. The senior school English play ‘Nobody famous’ saw a small time actress plummeting to fame in a series of bizarre and hilarious events.
     
Shivanjali, the dance performance lifted us to the ethereal world of Kailash, the abode of Shiva. The Senior School Day was a big success giving an opportunity to every student to perform on stage and exhibit their talent.
 

Alumni

On 24th of December 2009 about sixty alumni members, teachers and support staff, congregated at the school campus for a re- union. Students as early as the 1988 batch revisited their alma mater to connect with their juniors, teachers and support staff of the school.
