SPORTS DAY 2008

	The Annual Sports Day of 2008 – 2009 was held at Anna University Sports Ground on 22nd August 2008. The chief guest for the event was Mr. K. B. Appaiah, who graciously awarded the citations in the afternoon.
. The day started off with the athletes carrying the torch and lighting of the Sports Day Flame. Various events were conducted for the students of the middle school as well as high school. The heats and the finals of a few events like high jump, skipping, 100 mts dash were also included in the day’s events.
	A relay race for the staff was also held. The whole occasion was marked with a lot of energy and enthusiasm from both the students and staff, who dared the blazing heat and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
