ANNUAL SCHOOL DAY 2011 – 2012

     
DAY 2 – UPPER PRIMARY – CLASSES III TO V    
     

The upper primary school day was held on 29th July’11 (Friday). The chief guest for the occasion was Mrs. Vasantha Priya Mohan, a retired faculty of Bala Vidya Mandir.

The program started with the orchestra with an Annamaya krithi ‘Om namo narayana’ followed by Kavidi Sindhu. It was followed by the Hindi play “Vietnam me Katputhliyan” which highlighted that ‘Happiness lies in serving others and doing good work.’ This was followed by the Tamil play ‘Uzhaithu Kodu’. The dignity of labour and value of work were the highlights of this play. The dance drama depicted the ‘Arupadai Veedu’. The English play ‘The Vanishing Prince’ a German folktale  conveyed the message that “Kindness and care can do wonders and with kindness we can overcome any problem that we come across in life.

The highlight of the day was the fact that all the students from classes III – V were given an opportunity to showcase their talent.
