The Kindergarten of Bala Vidya Mandir celebrated its School Day on 20th February 2010.
The chief guest for the occasion was Mrs. Saraswati Sivaraman - former kindergarten teacher of Bala Vidya Mandir who was associated with the school for about 20 years.
The LKG and UKG children entertained the audience by presenting a variety programme which included an
Invocation song praising Lord Ganesha and Ashtalakshmi Stotram; Tamil action song -The Hare and Tortoise; English action song-Community Helpers; Dandiya Dance and Hindi action song performed by the UKG.
This was followed by the UKG play on fashion titled “The Martians to planet earth” where they had a firsthand experience of the different kinds of attire worn by the inhabitants of planet earth.
A well planned and executed programme, the little children won over every ones heart.
On 24th of December 2009 about sixty alumni members, teachers and support staff, congregated at the school campus for a re- union. Students as early as the 1988 batch revisited their alma mater to connect with their juniors, teachers and support staff of the school.
