The programme started with the School prayer . The welcome speech was rendered by Ms.Anita Chandran,HOD of KG Dept.This was followed by an informative and effective speech delivered by our Principal, Mrs Sashikala Sriram. She addressed the kindergarten parents on the BVM methodology of approaching the child at each level .She gave valuable tips to parents on effective communication with their children ,spending quality time ,academics at BVM and the play way method of learning that takes place at different stages in our school.
A special session was conducted by Dr.Shyamala Devi, developmental pediatrician with Apollo Hospitals. She gave a presentation on “Early childhood –An over view”. She also appreciated the work done in our school where children are given the freedom to develop at their own pace.
The programme came to an end after an interactive session of Q & A which benefitted almost all the parents.
Vote of Thanks was given by Mrs.Sashikala Krishna,parent of BVM.
The programme ended with the rendering of the National Anthem.
