Karuna Club

The Karuna Club develops in its members a comprehensive outlook of compassion and love for all living beings. It helps a child realize its social importance and encourage a source of involvement in preventing cruelty and in protecting harmony in the co-existence of man, animal and nature.

THE KARUNA CLUB ACTIVITIES

JUNE: Speech by Mr.Saikumar of BVM Global on Vegetarianism to Karuna club members.
JULY: Installation of fish tank with 50 new fish by Pamban Aquarium and maintained by Karuna club.
AUGUST: Make BVM green –Installation of gardening work was undertaken by Keerthika Nursery and followed by Karuna club members.
SEPTEMBER: ’Rose Day Celebration’ Karuna club members visited Adyar Cancer Hospital and donated Dates, Apples, and Hamam soaps . ‘Handful of rice a day’ –rice was collected by Karuna Club members and donated to Mrs.Krishna Venkatesh, who runs an animal shelter at Pallavakam. Placards were made on the value of silence and students held them during the Assembly

Alumni

On 24th of December 2009 about sixty alumni members, teachers and support staff, congregated at the school campus for a re- union. Students as early as the 1988 batch revisited their alma mater to connect with their juniors, teachers and support staff of the school.
