The Annual Day for classes I & II was
held on the evening of 23rd July 2009, and turned out to be a
memorable event. The little children charmed the audience by
donning colourful costumes and displaying their talent on
stage through action songs and plays.
The action song on seasons took us back to our childhood days
and truly allowed us to soak in the splendor of nature.The
play ‘Live and let live’ taught us how important it is to save
trees and take care of the earth. The Tamil action song
portrayed very subtly that hurting others intentionally will
have an effect that will boomerang on us.
The Chief Guest for the evening was
Mrs.Annapoorani, Centre Head, Kangaroo Kids School. She gave
an insightful speech on the finer aspects of parenting. The
evening continued with a Hindi action song which showcased the
wonderful natural creations such as the lotus and clouds, and
ended with the English play Brave Dick, which ended with the
triumph of good over evil.
The little kids left the
audience with a song on their lips and a dance on
their feet.
On 24th of December 2009 about sixty alumni members, teachers and support staff, congregated at the school campus for a re- union. Students as early as the 1988 batch revisited their alma mater to connect with their juniors, teachers and support staff of the school.
