Investiture and the Prize Distribution ceremony for the academic year 2010 - 2011 was held at Bala Vidya Mandir on June 22nd  Wednesday  2011.  As a harbinger, it symbolises the start of yet another successful  year. Prof.  Dr. Sarasa Bharathi. A, Director – Research & Training, MIOT Hospitals was the Chief Guest.

The investiture started with the swearing-in of the new office bearers for the academic year 2011 – 2012. Siddarth Srikanth and Shradha.V have been elected as the Head Boy and Head Girl and the posts of the Assistant Head boy  and Head girl were taken up by Ishan Venkat and Diya Naresh Rao.  The captains of the different houses were also presented their badges. Adithya K became the head of Kailash house and Aanchal Viswanathan Anand, Shoban.N and Anita.V donned the captains’ caps for  Kanchen Junga,  Nanga Parbat and  Neelkant houses respectively. Shruthi Bala was elected as the Assistant Sports Secretary and V.Balaji, who was the Assistant Sports Secretary last year became the Sports Secretary this year. All office bearers took up the oath administered to them by the outgoing Head boy and Head girl Arjith Retna and Krutika Sri Krishna.

The Students of Classes X and XII were awarded certificates and medals for their academic excellence in the board examination. The best all rounder (Boys & Girls) of classes X & XII were awarded shields and certificates. Many students received commendation certificates for rendering exemplary services to the school during the academic year.  The Chief Guest Prof Dr Sarasa Barathi A  then addressed the students on the occasion and wished the school all the best and success in all its future endeavours. Many students who attended the bioloid robotic workshop during April 2011 won scholarships for their meritorious performance and were awarded the scholarships by the CEO Mr.S.S.Nathan.
