Gokulashtami

Gokulashtami  was celebrated in a grand manner in the kg block on 19/8/2011. An idol of lord Krishna was decorated beautifully with flowers and a puja was performed. The children came dressed beautifully in traditional clothes.

The significance of the occasion was discussed and songs and bhajans in praise of lord Krishna were sung by the children. Cheedai,which is said to be krishna’s favourite food was served, and which the kids relished them .
