Maths Expo
The Math Club of Bala Vidya Mandir conducts the Inter School Math Expo an annual event in the month of January which draws active participation from the students of prestigious institutions of the city.
This year, the Inter School Math Expo was held on Saturday 30th January 2010. Dr. (Mrs) K.Hemalatha, Professor of Mathematics, Anna University was the Chief Guest. Over 27 schools participated in various events like sudoku, catch 20, cross number puzzle, quiz, display of models and Math through dance.
The highlight of this year’s expo was the introduction of a ROLLING TROPHY. The overall trophy was bagged by P.S.Senior Secondary School.

On 24th of December 2009 about sixty alumni members, teachers and support staff, congregated at the school campus for a re- union. Students as early as the 1988 batch revisited their alma mater to connect with their juniors, teachers and support staff of the school.
