Cultural Club / Lathangi Club

The word "Culturals" in the present academic society has varied meanings according to different activities that come under the banner of "Inter school Cultural Festival". It is the aim of this club to provide its members with an insight into the more valued skills in competence and excellence so as to help them shine in society. The club functins in various units, some of them being Music, Bhajans and Sanskrit Slokas which help in inspiring the students in the path of devotion, which is the backbone of our Indian Music and Scriptures.

THE CULTURAL (LATHANGI) CLUB ACTIVITIES

The Lathangi club was inaugurated in the month of July. The Lathangi club members from classes 7th to 11th  attended the meeting. Office bearers were selected from class XI and different activities of the club were discussed.

The Lathangi Club of Bala Vidya Mandir along with the spic macay organized Rajasthani Folk Music and Kalbeliya dance on 8th November 2011 for students of classes 6 to 11.Ustad Jamil Khan was the main singer for Sufi and folk music. Ms.Indira performed the Kalbeliya dance. The programme was not only entertaining but also informative and enlightened the students on the nuances of Rajasthani Music and dance.
