Alumni Meet

HOME COMING

Alumni Association of BVM held the Induction for the batch 2009 - 10 on Saturday, 7th August 2010 in the Basement Auditorium between 5 pm and 6 pm. Many of them attended the meeting.  It was a moment of great pride to see our students mature into responsible adults.

Saranya Suresh (of batch 2005 - 06) read a report on the various activities, conducted by the association during the year 2009 - 10. Registration for Life Membership and Annual Membership were distributed. The alumni interacted with the teachers sharing their memories from their school days. They enjoyed the reunion and their nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Mrs.Revathy Krishnamurthy, Educational officer initiated the Formal Induction. Mrs.Umashankari gave the welcome speech. Mrs.Nirmala.C distributed the registration forms and collected the money. Mrs.Karthiyaini delivered the vote of thanks. Many teachers were also present on the occasion. Refreshment were served to everyone.

PAST MEETS THE PRESENT

The alumni meet of Bala Vidya Mandir was held on 15th January 2011. The young adults brimming with confidence came back to their alma mater to recall the pleasant memories from their school days. It was a great time for all of them to re-kindle the old friendships which ever batches they belonged to.

Sri Raghav, the alumni student co-ordinator delivered the welcome address. The few games which were lined up made all go back to their school days. The CEO Mr.S.S.Nathan and the Senior Principal Mr. Sasikala Sriram shared their thoughts with the students who had crossed the portals of the school. Few of the teachers addressed the gathering. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Saranya Suresh.

The essence of this meet was to strengthen the bond between the alumni and the alma mater.
